Enter a split per 500 m or a power in watts. The converter gives the other, plus your pace per 1,000 m and the time for 2,000 m at that pace.

In short

Concept2's published formula: watts = 2.80 ÷ pace³, where pace is seconds per metre. A 2:00 /500 m split is 0.24 s/m, so 2.80 ÷ 0.013824 = 203 W, and 2,000 m at that pace takes 8:00.
