Magnetic rowers
Magnetic rowers set resistance with magnets near a flywheel. They are the quietest type, which suits flats and early mornings.

- Quiet

Moving magnets closer to the flywheel rim adds resistance in fixed levels, chosen with a knob or on the console. Electromagnetic models change level from the console or an app.
Compare the number of levels, the rail length (taller rowers need a longer rail), the max user weight in kg and the footprint in cm.
